Shipping, delivery & returns

Shipping

All orders will be arranged and shipped within 48 hours of order placement, and orders of $120 or more (before taxes) qualify for free shipping, across Canada. Most other orders have a flat $12 CAD shipping rate, but heavier packages may be subject to additional fees.

Please note that local orders generally take 1-3 shipping days. Orders outside of Southern Ontario can be expected within 5-7 days and we currently only ship within Canada. In addition, please be aware that the COVID-19 pandemic has delayed shipping by Canada Post and shipping couriers, so we ask that you allow a little extra time for your packages to arrive and thank you for your patience.

Orders mailed through Canada Post or a shipping courier will be accompanied by a tracking number, but please note that EcoFillosophy is not responsible for damaged, lost or stolen items during shipping. 

As part of our commitment to keeping our footprint small, and using less packaging, we encourage local customers to consider curbside pick-up or delivery, and that customers repurpose or recycle plastic-free packaging we include with your order. Please note that we repurpose all gently-used boxes sent to us by our vendors and may re-use clean and tidy materials to secure goods shipped to you.

 

Local Delivery

We offer free curbside pick-up from our shop in Bronte, Ontario, and will delivery locally in Oakville and Burlington for the flat rate of $5. Delivery outside of these areas are subject to regular shipping fees.

 

Return Policy

PLEASE NOTE: During COVID-19 pandemic, please be aware that items picked up from our shop or delivered to your door will not be eligible for a return. 

Given the small-batch nature of our products, and for health and safety reasons, we cannot accept returns. Instead, we invite you to test out our refill products in small amounts prior to committing to larger quantities and be aware that compostable packaging and natural products may take time to get used to, or may change in appearance over time. This will not make the product less effective.

But, if you are unsatisfied with a product, please let us know. We love to hear that you’ve enjoyed our carefully selected products as much as we have, but constructive feedback is equally important and always considered. 

Please note that due to the nature of refills, we cannot accept return or exchange of refill or bulk products.

 

Defective Items

And, of course, should you receive a product that is defective, we apologize in advance and would be happy to work with you to find a satisfactory solution. We do not accept return or exchange, unless the item you received is defective.
